Dearest Daughters,
I'd like to begin by sharing some of my poetry if I can ever figure out how to get it pasted in here. Apparently, it's going to require some giggling.

Let's make this site a place we can go to share our inner thoughts, feelings, emotions, & talents in an open forum. I hope we can share poetry, lyrics, ideas, concerns, soapbox oratorio, & whatever leaps into our minds or hearts to share. I feel that by expressing ourselves this way we will truly become sisters & family. Remember that God has only one family.
Please respond with your thoughts. The name of my little volume of poetry is, "Thoughts to Provoke Thought & the Senses." I'll try to get at least one poem on here by nightfall.

OK, I need some feedback on the poems & your suggestions on what movies we should all see, what books we should be reading, what ideas/ideals you can share. Come on! Who're you voting for, if nothing else? Diane read my novel. She said she liked it. Any one else up to it? I think Lara is halfway through the 988 pages. What do you think of the poetry?

I got some great books for my bday! I know Janae has read the Twilight books. I dont know if they're the most amazing literary accomplishments, but they sure are fast, riveting reads. (Thats Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse by Stephenie Meyers who is Mormon-but never fear her books are not Deseret Book store trash. JK) New book is called Prey- just came out last week. I'll be up all night. Also got Rhett Butlers people. Cant wait to read that- hoping to use Scarlett for babys middle name. Hows that for kissing up to Mimi? Has anyone read Mirror Mirror by gregory mcguire (author of Wicked and Son of a Witch- which I didnt fall in love with... maybe cuz there was no music)? How about Bedlam by Greg Hollingshead? Im in the middle of that. Too much exposition and not enough plot/drama. Did anyone ever read Wide Sargasso Sea? What did you think of it? Those are the recommendations... When Mimi said voting I immediately thought of American Idol instead of presidential- but maybe that was what she was thinking too. Lost (tv show) is awesome!! I've talked too much, so Im done and Mimi I have now commented on all that you asked. Love you and Happy Moms Day!
